About the game

Will beta progress be kept?

No. The game is in open beta: several systems are still under development, lag and bugs may occur, and when the beta ends all accounts will be reset. Characters, Pokémon, items and currency earned now will not be kept.

Which regions exist?

Today Kanto (44 maps) and Highland (13 level-150 hunts, with hordes). Johto, Hoenn and other regions will arrive in future updates.

What is Grand Pokémon Adventure?

A free, idle-style browser game made by fans. Your trainer explores the world, fights, catches and evolves on its own. You take care of the strategy: where to hunt, what to catch and when to evolve.

Do I need to download anything?

No. The game runs in the browser, on computer or mobile.

Is it free?

Yes, you can play and progress without spending anything. There are optional purchases: the GPA Coin currency (R$ 1.00 each) and VIP (+50% EXP and a badge), bought with GPA Coin. No purchase gives an advantage in catching or shiny chance. Everything is described in the Terms of use.

Is it an official Pokémon game?

No. It is a fan project with no affiliation to Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures Inc. or The Pokémon Company. Read the legal notice.

What is the minimum age?

18 years old.

Account and security

How do I create an account?

With an email and a password, accepting the terms and the privacy policy. Use an email of your own that you can access: it is the account recovery key.

I forgot my password.

When email recovery is available it will be offered on the login screen. Until then, contact support at the contact email.

Can I have more than one account?

There is a limit of accounts per person, described in the Code of conduct. Using several accounts to bypass the game or the market is not allowed.

Can I sell or lend my account?

No. The account is personal and non-transferable, and selling accounts or items for real money is prohibited.

Gameplay

How does catching work?

The Bot throws a Poké Ball as soon as the wild Pokémon is defeated, if you enabled catching and have the chosen ball in stock. The chance depends on the species and the ball, and rises with "pity" (the sum of the balls already spent on that species).

Why does a caught Pokémon go back to level 1?

It is a game rule: power comes from training. IV, rarity and shiny stay the same.

What is the chance of a Pokémon being shiny?

1 in 200 that the wild Pokémon is born shiny. Catching the shiny is much rarer, and the Bot always tries to catch it.

How do I evolve my Pokémon?

From the Box (or the team), when they reach the indicated level. Evolving spends stones from the line's loot and keeps the level. Without the stones, the Pokémon evolves and returns to level 1.

What happens if my team faints?

The hunt stops and you return to the Pokémon Center, with the team healed. Nothing is lost except time.

Does the game work with the tab closed?

Yes, up to 60 minutes of offline hunting budget, which recharges over time. The pace is the same as with the game open.

Market and economy

How does the market work?

It is a global market between players, where you list and buy items and Pokémon. Every transaction is recorded and auditable.

How do I buy GPA Coin?

In the VIP Store, under GPA Coin: pick an amount or type a quantity (5 to 2,000) and pay by card through Stripe. Each coin costs R$ 1.00. Coins enter your account only after the payment is confirmed, usually within seconds.

What does VIP give and how much does it cost?

+50% EXP for the trainer and the Pokémon, plus the VIP badge. VIP is bought with GPA Coin: 15 days for 10 coins, 30 days for 17, 60 days for 30 and 90 days for 40. Buying again adds days to what is left.

Can I ask for a refund?

Yes: within 7 days of buying GPA Coin, as long as the coins have not been spent, at contato@idlegames.online. Coins already spent (for example on VIP) are not refunded.

What happens to what I bought during the beta?

The beta ends with a reset of all accounts. Whoever buys GPA Coin in the store during the beta receives, at launch, everything they paid plus 30%, in GPA Coin. Only purchases made in the store count (not coins obtained from other players), net of refunds.

Can I trade in-game items for real money?

No. Selling accounts, items, Pokémon or currency for real money outside the game is prohibited and may lead to a ban.

I was scammed in a trade. What now?

Use the support channel described in the Code of conduct, with as much detail as possible. Each case is reviewed individually.
