How to play

From sign-up to your first catch, in a few steps.

In five minutes

  1. Create your account. You must be 18 or older. The account uses an email and a password, and you accept the Terms of use, the Privacy policy and the Code of conduct.
  2. Pick your starter. Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle, at level 5. It will be your leader, the Pokémon that hunts.
  3. Visit the Pokémon Center. It is your starting point: from there you open the Box, the Bag, the Pokédex and the Explore menu.
  4. Choose a map and start hunting. Route 1 in Pallet, in Kanto, opens at level 1. Every map requires a minimum level, and Highland only opens at level 150.
  5. Set up the Bot in the Hunt Helper: which Pokémon to catch, which ball to use and when to heal with a potion.

Day to day

  • Sell loot to Mark to earn Gold and buy balls and potions at the PokéMarket.
  • Evolve your Pokémon in the Box once they reach the level and you have the line's stones.
  • Swap the leader to train other Pokémon on the team.
  • Level up to unlock harder maps.
  • Use the market to sell the extras and buy what you lack.

Starter tips

  • Do not spend all your balls at once: the Bot only catches if it has the chosen ball in stock.
  • Keep potions in stock if your leader is at the limit of the map.
  • Compare profit per hour in the Analyzer before changing maps.
  • If your team faints, go back to a lower-level map and train.
  • You can close the game: the hunt continues for up to 60 minutes offline.
